The purpose of SCQG is to gather together all interested quilters to explore the world of quilting; to preserve and continue the traditions, culture and history of quilting; to sponsor and support quilting activities; to provide a meeting place for beginners as well as the experienced to exchange ideas, designs, techniques and workmanship.
Our Guild 
We come together to share the art of quilting, make friends, and give back to the community.
Show & Tell, Door Prizes, Raffles, Block of the Month and Fat Quarter Swaps.
Our monthly Guild meeting are planned with different speakers, teachers and Guild members showing & sharing their quilting talents. There is always something new to learn in the world of Quilting!!
Quilt Show - Our next quilt show is in September 2009. We are all very excited after the huge success of our quilt show in 2007!
Sit N Sew - the SCQG members can meet at the Berkley Lions Club once a month to work on quilts and get to know other members.
Charity Quilts - our guild has done quilts for the March Of Dimes, baby quilts, vets quilts,Taunton Firefighter MDA quilts, and placemats for the Meals on Wheels Program.
